Maple House

Maple House is a full renovation of a 1960s split-level home, reworking the existing structure into a more functional and cohesive modern residence. The project focused on retaining the strengths of the original home while reconfiguring spaces to better support daily life.

The design introduces a new owner’s suite and updates the overall layout to improve flow, light, and connection between spaces. Improvements to the thermal envelope and the addition of energy-efficient windows support long-term performance and comfort.

Material selections, both inside and out, were chosen for durability and ease of maintenance, allowing the home to age well over time. While the house has been fully transformed, care was taken to ensure it remains consistent with the scale and character of the surrounding neighborhood. The result is a home that feels clear, modern, and well suited to how it is lived in today.
